Net Tool Optimizer® (NTO) customers that have deployed multiple NTOs in large-scale distributed networks can now securely discover, manage, and proactively monitor their global NTO environments from a single pane of glass. The Global Management System (GMS) meets the needs of existing NTO users in the three main areas of inventory management; performance and SMNP monitoring; and multi-NTO configuration management

Simple, Intuitive, and Visual

The Global Management System lets you easily discover and inventory NTOs—wherever they are located, and whichever software version or NTO platform is deployed. Advanced inventory reports and change alerts can be easily created so that engineers and managers can access needed information at the click of a mouse.

Centralized Performance, Fault Monitoring, and Configuration Management

All of the NTO’s SNMP MIB information has been integrated; once an NTO has been discovered, the Global Management System automatically begins monitoring the device for critical performance indicators (CPIs) related to the performance and health of the NTO. The system applies automatic thresholds to these CPIs so that alarms can be triggered if the Global Management System sees a breach of any parameter or signs of operating outside a known good condition. Alarms can be disseminated via email, SMS, Trap or other method to the appropriate response team. The Global Management System can configure numerous NTOs simultaneously with common administrative tasks such as software upgrading, deployment of new NTO licenses, adding or removing users, password change and more.
