WatchiTV Portable, IPTV Analyzer
The WatchiTV solution is the industry's first IPTV analyzer running on the notebook PC that emulates IPTV clients for verifying VoD channel request as well as EPG changing delay.
Unlike data transfers over IP, streaming video quality is measured at the Ethernet
interface between DSL modem and STB. Quality end-point video is not solely a
function of network bandwidth nor is it solely a function of MPEG-2. In fact many of the issues that surround quality end-point video are a combination of both the
MPEG-2 quality and the IP packet delivery of the network. The type of MPEG-2
stream being transported effects the minimum and maximum boundary characteristics that the network packet delivery and the overall system must
conform to quality streaming video at the end-point.
WatchiTV Distributed, Centralized IPTV MPEG Stream Monitering
WatchiTV Distributed Network Management System, is the central point in the distributed IPTV network monitoring system which provides real time MPEG/Network management with comprehensive monitoring, alarm and report functionalities. WatchiTV NMS is a scalable solution which can support number of WatchiTV ProMatrix-II in the network to several hundreds of channels.
The NMS provides easy-to-use interface to collect all the WatchiTV ProMatrix-II monitoring status report over IPTV network by the standard SNMP protocol.
